The designs

Digital illustrations in a bright, cheerful palette: a rainbow, an ice cream bar, a four-leaf clover, a cat, a cupcake, a candle — plus flowers, balloons, desserts and assorted good-luck symbols across the set. The first-day ceremony was at The Great American Stamp Show in Cleveland.

What comes with the sheet

The stamp sheet includes celebratory stickers carrying phrases like "You're a star," "Hooray" and "Congratulations," so an ordinary envelope can be dressed up without anything extra.

The idea behind it
